Mr. Bower has handed to me the power of Attorny for the collection of the draft
for the Catchings of the "Ocmulgee". The first trouble seems to consist
jin the procuring authority to obtain the money, and
the second trouble is what to do with the money when obtained. I do not propose
to draw the money from the Acct. until all parties have agreed to its disposition
Enclosed you will find an agreement Which I understand meets the approval of
all. A duplicate has been sent to Mr. Osborn for himself, Mr.Monroe, Mr. Coffin,
and Mr. Warren to sign. I wish Mrs. Gannett, Mrrs. Worth, Mr Bradley, Mr. Kelly
[etc?] To sign this and send it to Mr. Bonner to be held by him until Mr. Osborn
produces the duplicate with the signatures thereto.
Yours truly, Wm. W. Crapo
